An astounding event just happened with far reaching consequences for the free world. The British people stood up and took back control of their country. The backlash against Brexit was propagated by some very spoiled ‘useful idiots’ and politicians who fed disinformation to keep the people shackled to global governance that restricts, then destroys. The European Union is bureaucratic despotism that includes borderless run-on carnage in every country that signed on. It imposed a centralized ‘tyranny’ run by ideologues in Brussels European Union Central. They pummeled the free will of the people by forcing government control, stifling regulations and the intrusion of an uncivilized demographic who impose their Sharia laws and savage behavior with a clear unmistakable intent to spread its oppression on all.
Brexit could not have come sooner. It’s an affirmation by the British people declaring their decision not to be belittled or oppressed; they chose self-determination, liberty and freedom. It also sends a powerful message to world leaders, to shake off their warnings and veiled threats that you’d better leave things as they are, or else.
They chose the ‘or else’ proposition by rejecting the EU. It’s a new day and another powerful indicator that an emboldened movement is afoot.
Americans observe the disintegration of Europe knowing they’re headed in the same direction. Angela Merkel’s senseless decision to welcome thousands of un-vetted migrants brought the EU to its knees but it has been in steep decline for years. Take a walk in London or Paris or Munich to see the alteration of still beautiful cities that once edified with their power, cultural identities and ethnic differences that differentiated one European country from another. It’s become a dangerous no-zone permeated mass of borderless countries where rape is indulged with startling regularity and a feared armageddon hangs in the air.
Brexit is a referendum for independence and a nationalistic sentiment directly linked to the Brit’s rejection of Islamic fascism. It rejects socialism too. It represents borders re-imposed, the refusal to continue supporting other EU-welfare-dependent countries like Greece who choose hand-outs rather than self determination. The EU enforced its authority with dictatorial non-restraint that galled.
All this comes at a time when Obama’s presidency ends in six months. America is faced with a decision of its own. Hillary’s nomination attests to the moral degradation of a bankrupt Democratic Party who presents a candidate whose corrupt Clinton Foundation includes accepting rogue Middle Eastern donations with a conflict of interest between her foundation and her work in government. Hillary and Bill have a humiliating 30 year cumulative ‘rap’ sheet of illegal behavior (for which they’ve never been arrested) that affirms they are calculated criminals and untrustworthy. Her recent email debacle reflects her belief in her own invincibility as well as her brazen coziness with dubious donors who hope to influence a Clinton presidency or why else dole out such generous donations.
Is this anyone’s idea of who our nation’s leader is supposed to be?
More disturbing is the support she garners from thoughtless progressives who seem unable to sensibly discern good from bad behavior. Morality feels like an obsolete ethic long forgotten.
Obama buoys her candidacy. Does he forbid an FBI indictment, conveniently negating the rule of law?
Obama spreads his insults globally. He went to the UK to persuasively suggest they continue within the EU for the sake of their economy. The British people proudly defied him. The Israelis too when Obama tried to sway their election away from Netanyahu in 2015 and lost. Even Egypt spurned him when they ousted Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Morsi and replaced him with Egyptian pro-Democracy President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, rejecting Obama’s disturbing preference for Morsi outright.
These three rebuttals are relevant because they represent a dismissal of Obama’s overreaching strong-arm tactics for control.
Can America do the same? They can if they choose to take their country back. Many want that and it cannot come soon enough.
Donald Trump expressed his sincere congratulations to the British people, commending them for stepping up and asserting their nationalism. He and Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) are compared for similar compelling reasons. Farage fought for this win much like Trump fights against the systemic American establishment.
Upon the Brexit victory, Farage jubilantly proclaimed, “This, if the predictions now are right, will be a victory for real people, a victory for ordinary people, a victory for decent people.”
There have been warnings that Brexit can lead to a temporary global crisis until terms are worked out acceptably. There will be uncertainty as the divorce between the EU and UK ensues. The UK is a strong country and will prosper on its own. Other countries will be tempted to emulate UK’s move but some may not succeed due to their weaker economic condition which makes them dependent on the EU. Obama too may do all he can to impede progress – his political ploy and I-told-you-so reprisal.
The anti-establishment take-down of global government is just beginning. Brexit compels other EU countries to consider doing the same. It restores faith in possibility and the working class man who prevailed in Britain for the good of all. It taps into working class Americans who are Trump supporters for the same reasons.
Indeed! Trump’s brand of populist nationalism equates to the same anti-EU sentiment that led to Brexit. The Brexit vote empowers the Trump message and encourages others to restore their national sovereignty which is exactly what Trump stands for here in the USA. The Brexit phenomenon gave Trump and the ‘real’ people a much deserved shot of adrenaline.
