It wasn’t just the Democratic Party who sought to crush Trump. It was an onslaught from unanticipated cowards with unseemly tactics. It was the neocons and conservative establishment, the repugnant elite never-Trumpers, the media and many in the Republican Party. A grudge fest by those who should have known better. They counted him out at every turn disparaging him with contempt and accusations crafted for the foolish and faint of heart.
The lies swept up many. They were adamant and mistaken. Those with rock solid sense saw it for what it was: a calculated mutiny they hoped would backfire.
It didn’t fool leftist and unappealing Michael Moore who to his credit had no doubt about Trump! He broke out of his progressive paradigm, crossed the line, declared this election the greatest fuck you in history! He saw Trump coming and to prove it, put his reputation on the line. His video went viral!
He was right and smart enough to know it!
The bloodthirsty media composed of a despicable lot of sapless sheep propagated the biggest election hoax to convince Trump supporters to give it up. It was vicious, infecting hope with doubt. Their neo-socialist agenda wasn’t to be trifled with.
But media treachery actually led the Trump march forward. Enough saw their transparent subterfuge.
Trump swept the country. His movement unstoppable.
He tapped a white working class rural populism, those disenfranchised by the elite and relegated down. Their rage overlooked by both parties and happy to shove Hillary aside. She represented all they detested – unlawfulness and dishonesty. They were her ‘deplorables’ but they loved Trump.
They sought law and order, opportunity and legal immigration. Trump’s rallies mined this needy demographic and articulated their long ignored concerns. Their forgotten voices no longer forgotten.
His performance and strategy was edifying. An unprecedented feat historians will study and interpret so others might learn from it. He won the traditionally Republican states but it was his calculated blue-collar blitz that won the election. Trump inspired far more enthusiasm than Hillary who did not galvanize enough college educated whites or minorities to win the electoral votes. She spent 180 million on television ads in Florida, Ohio and North Carolina, crucial states, and lost all three.
Trump’s ground game surpassed hers. The RNC’s Reince Priebus had 62 field offices throughout the country stumping assiduously for Trump. It proved highly effective. Trump was perceived as the agent of change while Hillary’s loss was a national referendum on Barack Obama whose policies were undeniably hers and unacceptable to many.
His astute handlers seized on a group of Americans who were left out and resentful of the opaque self-absorbed elitists who viewed Trump as a threat and wanted nothing more than to maintain their perks and life style. Ignoring a powerful segment of Americans with the power to exclude a status quo candidate with few charms and a history of endemic corruption proved fatal to Hillary.
Trump is the candidate who stepped-up for the common man and for all Americans, pummeled by government overreach, identity politics and contempt. He was the only politician who understood how the other side of America felt. The 16 ‘seasoned’ Republican presidential primary nominees, some RINO’s, couldn’t compete with his erudite power. An unpolished gem the people seized and never let go!
Progressives and still resentful conservatives will continue with their get-Trump invective having learned nothing about American grit to rally around the right candidate when it counts. Progressive goon squads have taken to the streets to intimidate. Trump will prevail despite their need to belittle. They lost.
The disrespected stood on long lines to vote. Their cumulative power focused resolutely on kicking out the progressive thugs who undermined their dignity. The blue collar turned state’s red – those who sought self-regard with jobs and opportunities. Patriotic Americans with flags they’re proud to hang. The forgotten man election who will now figure BIG in Trump’s administration.
The socialists came close to stealing our country. Hillary’s gone. Trounced! Her punishing notion of sexism gone too. A scary memory we’ll not soon forget. Men like Soros lurk in the shadows. Destructive progressives forced now into remission who could rise again when we grow complacent.
We’ve been warned. This was chillingly close.
Good people believed we were doomed. Malignant pessimism spread. The skewed polls crafted to inspire discouragement. Polls don’t measure passion and there was plenty here! And many people polled were not inclined to share their pick. They remained undaunted and voted in droves.
We won. Back on track. Israel too. So is the military. And law enforcement. The NRA. So are the paltry 25% who comprise conservative American Jews – the minority within the minority with sensibilities intact (Jews with Brains). So are the black and Hispanic Americans who supported Trump beyond Romney. So are parts of Europe overwhelmed by uncivilized Muslims whose flawed policies Hillary sought to emulate. So is Nigel Farage who led the Brexit charge! Even Putin’s delighted, and probably relieved to see this embarrassing un-American black weakling leave the White House. And the scurrilous Iranian’s know their political nuke extortion game is up.
Trump’s the new man on the block and he’s unlike any other president who’s come before.
His rallies paid off big. He inspired hundreds of thousands across the country. He worked it daily with tireless effort. He never quit!
Trump’s administration will be stocked with competent people, the best of the best, with individuals like Mike Pence, Rudy Giuliani, Reince Priebus (now Chief of Staff), Stephen Bannon (now senior counselor and chief West Wing strategist), Newt Gingrich, John Bolton, Ben Carson, Jeff Sessions, Kellyanne Conway, General Mike Flynn, among so many more. Stifling regulations will be diminished. Crony capitalism discredited, Obamacare dismantled. Taxes lowered. Real energy empowered. PC dogma trashed. Our border secured.
It won’t be perfect. It’ll take time but expect to see some progress within the first 100 days. Trump will get things done!
The downtrodden Republican Party, only because of Trump, captured the house, senate and Oval Office. The whole deal! Paul Ryan should receive no credit for his contemptible lack of support, happy now to work with Trump because real change is possible. He’s excited. He doesn’t deserve to be.
There will be no Syrian refugees.
Logic will prevail.
Our treasured second amendment is intact! Our Supreme Court constitutionally sound. Israeli sovereignty far more likely to be respected. At long last.
Obama’s eight years will soon be up, his policies relegated to rubbish representing nothing at all – summarily dismissed!
Make America great again! It’s going to happen!
How many dreamed of a moment like this?
It’s a new day!!
