George Soros is getting old. I saw him up close and personal about one year ago and he looked very tired then. We shouldn’t be surprised he is passing on his political baton to one of his sons. Alexander Soros’ commentary, What American Jews Want – That’s why I’m launching a Jewish Action PAC, is a sordid regurgitation of what we would expect from the offspring of a despicable Jew who is ruthlessly rich yet still finds time to hate his own people and country. Their hatred though his son cannot fully understand the depth of his father’s history and bad behavior, will continue on. This commentary and the launching of the Soros Jewish Action PAC is a declaration that the Soros family will continue to be purveyors of self-hate. They couch it insidiously in ways that will appeal to disenfranchised Jews who cannot do better. It is a pity so many Jews care not for their own people and haven’t much inclination to understand why Israel should matter…..has to matter. Its significance must be internalized young by Jewish parents who inculcate that passion in their children young. It has not been successfully passed on by American Jews whose notion of reformism is a disgrace. We see it when we examine Jews who attend reform temples. They listen to rabbis who (often) foster an insidious form of self-hate that rabbinical schools teach. This is unforgivable, but it continues on. Jews hardly raise the subject; a few do.
Jews excel at math, science, music, journalism, business, medicine, technology…..a range of accomplishments. But they are illogical. Liberalism is their religion. Jews seem to lack critical reasoning skills also known as common sense which is an integral part of intelligence. Obama’s Iranian non-deal is illogical. I don’t attribute that to Obama’s lack of experience or radicalism though they both exist. I think he is very conscious of what he is doing. The pity really is, so many Jews voted for him.
And yet, Jews are finally grasping how bad Obama is though there are still many who support him. Impossible to deny that a deficit exists among our people.
I am not religious. Wasn’t raised that way. But my children have passion for their own people and care about Israel. The two don’t have to go hand in hand though the Orthodox appear to have that concern cornered by their diligence to Torah and Judaism. It is to Jews like myself that this passion needs mentoring. It shouldn’t be relegated only to the Orthodox. Unfortunately, we have lost many Jews and that is a failure within our religion. It skews our imprint on the importance of Israel and why it must matter to more than just one segment of our people.
I find it particularly amusing that Alexander focuses on the single issue Jewish voter – those that dare to care about Israel – those 4% – a bogus statistic. Naturally Jews have concerns about other issues. He is not mistaken though I disagree with his focus on a larger active government and health care. Obamacare has emerged. Hasn’t he noticed? Obama has brought Israel to our attention with his handling of Iran and his anti-Semitism which was predictable way back when, for those of us who took the time to observe and think. It has come home to roost. Lest we forget, Jews like Alexander and certainly his father, helped promote Obama’s political fortunes by providing a huge cache of bucks to take him to the White House. Interesting that no Jewish leaders bring that to our attention now when it is so clear how regrettable it was.
And too, he focuses on economic inequality. The Soros family alone could remedy that situation with their immense fortune. Redistribution is their ticket as long as their fortune remains intact.
And the discrimination he addresses against blacks, Muslims and Hispanics ignores the rising anti-Semitism that has escalated globally and here in America. Along with that, Sharpton and Holder, De Blasio and Obama promote a blame-the-white scenario that exonerates blacks from any personal responsibility. This message comes from a black president whose electorate brought him to power. It’s a divisive polarizing approach that sadly dominates. We’re all responsible for how we behave. This can change politically if the GOP and the preponderance of candidates that keep on coming, can distill this candidacy mayhem and find a candidate who can actually win an election. No duplication please of the tragedies that were the McCain and Romney campaigns.
I despised this Soros piece, but it isn’t unanticipated. I knew it was coming. Interesting it arrives just as many Jews are finally realizing that Obama isn’t the swell Democratic president they voted for. Pew tells us their support for Obama is down to 52%. George was getting nervous! Jews cannot be allowed to perseverate on their concern about a president who throws Israel under the bus even if it reflects a very delayed Jewish awareness. It was high time for the Soros family to issue their uninformed progressive spin to real Jewish voters who know no better because no one is telling them any different other than the Soros family.
