The media’s obsessive need to denigrate Donald John Trump (DJT) leaves the intended impression that Trump is in trouble with hardly anything to show for his short time in office. They and the ‘Deep State’ want to demoralize us with their lies and abuse of power. They want to take down our Democracy and their threat is real. Many Trump supporters are dejected, focused on Trump-chaos, legislative failures, the special counsel investigation and staff turnover that suggests disorganization. But all is not chaotic. Trump isn’t doing as badly as we’re told. There are reasons to be optimistic.
The meaning of the Deep State is often unclear. Mike Lofgren describes it this way: “Our venerable institutions of government have outwardly remained the same, but they have grown more and more resistant to the popular will as they have become hardwired into a corporate and private influence network with almost unlimited cash to enforce its will.”
We see a series of ‘coordinated attacks’ to overthrow a democratically elected president who brilliantly pulled the rug out from under the DC establishment and the Republican presidential nominees who couldn’t send a coherent economic message to the people and the Democratic party that radicalized under Barack Obama, a president whose past is guarded carefully because there are things they do not want us to know. We do know he was soundly rejected by the people because he’s viewed as a tyrant whose continued corruption is in high gear as he lawlessly strives to regain the power he deservedly lost.
But the resilient and unpolished DJT cannot under any circumstances be counted out. He intends to deliver on his stated goals, and already has. Trump’s considerable adversaries disparage him rather than examine the truth he sensibly embraced. The Democrat dependence on Wall Street money stopped them from considering the plight of the working class who were undermined by income redistribution that favored the non-working on welfare, the illegals and the rich. Throw in identity politics highlighted by bogus accusations of racism and exacerbated by Hillary’s obtuse reliance on her womanhood, and that tells us more.
The millions of patriots, those who love America, are astounded by the callous behavior they see on both sides of the divide – scoundrels called out daily on Facebook and Twitter who shock us with their depravity. There is no party to favor. In fact, Trump was seen as unelectable because he never had a party that supported him. He walked away with an astonishing electoral victory despite McCain, Romney and Ryan who counted him out; they didn’t matter a bit. Trump upended a decrepit political system with enough American support to take him to the White House.
And they hate him for it. They want their power back and will do anything to extort control regardless of the people or Democracy or DJT.
Trump’s work is just beginning. Real change takes time.
He threatens the self-contained elite, the hard left and globalists whose lives are predicated on privilege, disregard and control. Their elitist ideology hinges on unfair trade imbalances, restrictive environmental rules and too many regulations. Trump cares and therein lies his promise for the people which is wholly reciprocated. He’s an outlier, unlike any other politician we’re likely to encounter again. He emerged to save our Republic.
Trump’s accomplished quite a bit though he has not achieved any legislative victories on Obamacare or tax reform. The Republican Party needs an overhaul to rid itself of the corrupt spoilers who can no longer be tolerated. But Rome wasn’t built in seven short months. It will take time to clean the swamp. The squalor is undeniable and those who reside deep within won’t go away until they’re restrained and forced out. There are many more leftist plants (like Comey was and Mitch McConnell is) Trump must eradicate.
Here are the facts: The second quarter of 2017 revealed growth of U.S. GDP to 2.6%, more than double Q1’s 1.2% growth. The Dow Jones Industrials hit an all time high. Trump has added 1,000,000 jobs and unemployment is at a 16 year low. He is rewriting environmental rules, revamping the justice system. He’s rolled back more than 800 Obama-era regulations and has already saved billions in regulatory costs. Illegal border crossings are down 71% and there are 5,000 new ICE agents. He is cleaning up the VA with 526 incompetents fired already producing significant improvements. Our Supreme Court with Neil Gorsuch authorized parts of the travel ban. Trump is filling up the lower courts with lifetime appointees and placing young conservative nominees on the federal bench. He’s withdrawn the U.S. from the Paris climate accord which boosts the U.S. economy and is dismantling Obama’s Clean Power Plan and rescinding the 2015 Waters of the United States rule which we discussed here as an odious restriction on farming and private businesses across this nation.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is rolling back much of Obama’s environmental priorities. The Keystone XL Pipeline begins construction. Unpopular illegal sanctuary cities are being challenged and threatened by defunding. The Mexican wall though not yet begun has not been forgotten and is an important piece in Trump’s overall plan.
Trump and his White House team are working hard on an extensive $1.3 trillion infrastructure plan that could revolutionize employment and dramatically improve our country. Trump is a developer; that’s what he does. If all goes as planned with many Americans gainfully employed he could easily win re-election in 2020.
But what of the considerable challenges that are coming hard at Trump? Comey’s buddy, Robert Mueller whose special counsel intends to investigate every aspect of DJT. There is no crime to investigate just an enemy inspired imperative to dig-dirt. And what of individuals like National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster who replaced Mike Flynn, the good guy Trump originally picked who was outed by the swamp. McMaster, who wields considerable power, is purported to be adhering to holdover Obama administration policies. If true, he’s a problem. Another concern are Republicans who work against Trump. Just last week a bipartisan bill received support that protects Mueller’s investigation of Trump. It received more Republican support than repeal and replace of Obamacare. That’s overt party subversion showing unambiguous intent to help drive Trump from office.
What’s Trump to do?
He must fully acknowledge the severity of the left’s intrusion in our U.S. Intelligence Community and then declare war. That includes those in his party who subvert his goals. Trump needs to amass indictable information against those who subvert – two can play that same game. His termination of Comey was a good start. They’ve weaponized the FBI, CIA, EPA, NSA, IRS. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is sanitizing the bloated dysfunctional State Department. We also see Scott Pruitt, the head of the EPA reducing its power, prioritizing industry and agricultural interests before environmental concerns. This incursion did not happen overnight. It was advanced by Obama who was ready to hand it off to Hillary. When she lost, the deep state assault began before Trump assumed office. Trump has taken his lumps by first allowing General Mike Flynn to be illegally taken out by individuals high up in the intelligence community. Flynn was outed in three weeks. Jeff Sessions’ recusal should not have occurred. It cemented Sessions’ image as a weak attorney general who folded at the slightest provocation. Trump’s dissatisfaction followed.
Trump must go on offense. Top law breakers must be prosecuted. They’re empowered because their lethal ploys work. Trump’s been on defense. It’s time to put his enemies there. The left has been in charge for years; they feel invincible. Sessions’ announcement to punish the leakers was a beginning. Now he must execute.
Mueller has one agenda: to get Trump. His recent KGB-like raid at Paul Manafort’s home attests to that. There is no mention of unmasking or spying or any acknowledged violations by the left against Trump. The laws aren’t equally applied and that needs to change. Like Mueller, Trump must hire a posse of savage street-smart attorney’s itching to take out some of these thugs. Once they do, the others will reconsider. One suggestion would be to hire Andrew C. McCarthy to run the show.
Trump must hire impeccable individuals to fight with him. He has every reason to distrust those around him. He cannot do it alone. Individuals like Rudy Giuliani, Colonel Allen West, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Shaffer and John Bolton could be relied upon. There are plenty of tough patriots who would willingly assist. They know what he’s up against. The addition of John F. Kelly as WH Chief of Staff is a good start but it must not stop there.
When you’re in a war, you fight with the best by your side. This is an unprecedented attack on a Republican president who must be an enormous threat to elicit such a response. We’ve learned not to count Trump out. With a tough offense Trump will win!
