Trump’s been our duly elected president for almost 5 months during which he’s been mired in the left’s political fantasies because they control the narrative. Accusations of collusion between Trump and Russia is their long standing rant that’s been remarkably resilient. The media, obstructionist Democrats, RINOs and leakers within the 17 Intelligence agencies have dominated our attention because Trump hasn’t sufficiently reined in the political cancer Obama carefully left behind. We don’t doubt these malevolent attacks come directly from the Obama/Jarrett house-of-slime just down the road. Trump has been under investigation for a non-existent crime that has taken on a life of its own. We watched Attorney General Sessions speak Tuesday and though he handled himself with aplomb, he was on defense. He shouldn’t have been.
We learned from Comey’s testimony last week Trump was not under investigation. Comey’s a charlatan who kept that truth concealed from the public. Marco Rubio scored effectively when he asked Comey, “why, out of all the leaks surrounding the Russia investigation, the one thing that had not been leaked was that Trump was not being investigated”.
What a calculated scam.
What most people don’t know is that James Comey informed Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Devin Nunes, Adam Schiff, Richard Burr, Dianne Feinstein and Mark Warner that Trump was not under investigation weeks ago. If all these powerful people knew Trump wasn’t being investigated why were they silent? NOT ONE Republican came to his defense. Not ONE Republican on the Intel Committee made it clear that Trump was NOT being investigated for anything, Who are they protecting? Certainly not Trump or their party while this vicious witch hunt continued for months.
And apparently, no one thought to tell the American people.
This shameful and cumulative barrage of hate took a very bad turn in Alexandria, Virginia this past Wednesday. We shouldn’t be surprised.
Let’s be clear: severed heads, false accusations, cries for impeachment, and visceral hate can lead to violence and did. It happened when James T. Hodgkinson, a Bernie Sanders Campaign volunteer wrote on Facebook, Trump is a traitor. It is time to destroy Trump & Co. His facebook and twitter posts were alarmingly anti-Republican and full of hate. He went on a Republican hunt targeting GOP congressmen at a Republican baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia where he opened fire with a rifle and managed to injure six. Two brave cops took him out. Hodgkinson was obviously unstable but hate has become contagious and palpably scary. We should place the blame squarely at the feet of those who have promoted a political climate of corrosive vitriol.
“We were like sitting ducks,” Senator Rand Paul, of Kentucky, told Fox News. “Without the Capitol Hill police it would have been a massacre. When you have no way to defend yourself… the field was essentially a killing field.”
Fortunately Majority Whip Republican, Steve Scalise who was seriously injured, had a security detail. That saved their lives! Think about it. Had Rep Scalise not been at the baseball practice, many more congressmen would be injured or dead.
This was an act of terror. Was Hodgkinson’s decision to assault Republican congressmen induced by unhinged liberals who condone terror? The Democratic Party has radicalized. It has lost its grip morphing into a party of thorns, bankrupting itself with moral depravity.
Hodgkinson shared links full of Trump-Russia conspiracy theories that came straight from the left hate machine. When you mainstream this kind of hatred, you get violence.
Are crazies being groomed by the left, targeting Republican congressmen with the intent to shoot and kill?
Rush Limbaugh tells us this: “This guy is the exact personification when I sit here and talk about the lunatic fringe base, the deranged base of the Democrat Party, this is the guy. This is the face. This is the picture. This is what you get when you stoke and fuel hatred, raw hatred and resentment, at some point it’s gonna blow over, because it cannot be contained, this kind of rage and repeated disappointment.”
Has Trump had enough? The American people sure have. It’s time for him to go on offense. He needs tough political talent to do it.
Lawlessness cannot be tolerated. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, Jim Comey……and others flaunt our laws. People who break the law must be held responsible. It’s as simple as that. If Trump doesn’t enforce our laws, the progressive big fish will keep ignoring our laws which leads to chaos.
An example: Trump’s immigration ban was seized by Obama appointed leftist judges. Obama stacked the deck. American immigration has been commandeered by the left. Trump’s border wall and six nation travel ban now feels elusive. White house legal counsel should have seen that coming. As it was, the ban was bungled, issued prematurely without the due diligence it required. Trump must wrest immigration control back from the left. He needs legal talent to do it.
For the record, 380 out of 580 people convicted in terror cases since 9/11 were foreign-born. 72 of those convicted of terrorism come from the seven nations targeted by Trump.
Trump needs to unify his congressional body to extract the changes we need. If Ryan and McConnell won’t play ball he must find a way to coerce cooperation. Trump won’t get full support; RINOs thwart that goal. Yes, Trump is captain of the ship — but it will never leave the dock unless most of the Gang of Nine (GOP Senators) are on board.
Americans want Obamacare repeal & replace along with tax reform. Can it materialize amidst a corrupt and resistant Republican Party whose penchant is to promote squabbles before efficacy?
Trump has had significant accomplishments. He must declare it loud and clear so the news you didn’t hear gets heard! The resistance squashes good news. They bear only bad news like their attempt to convince us that Hillary was a shoe-in, the candidate who couldn’t be beaten.
Trump has significant powers granted by the Constitution. Using his presidential clout and managing the executive branch takes skill and determination. His presidency isn’t ordinary. The progressive resistance have declared a coup-like mutiny against him; they reject his presidency and choose only to obstruct.
It’s crucial that Trump surround himself with more allies not subversive backstabbers.
Republicans were attacked with violence this week. A wake up call to be sure. If not for police involvement it might have been a Republican slaughter. A direct result of raw leftist hatred. War has been declared. Trump must engage and find a way to effectively fight it: a rallying cry to restore his broken party and the American people who still stand behind him because they know he’s done nothing wrong. He needs experienced and trustworthy individuals who know D.C. Those who can exact TOUGH pressure collaboratively with Trump and go on offense, pulling out all the stops, and exerting the kind of force the enemy cannot choose to ignore.
